Privacy Policy
Walkthru ("we") is a punch list service for home builders. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and name (from Google sign-in or the email you enter), and the company you create or join.
- Your content: jobs, punch list items, notes, photos and subcontractor contact details that you or your team enter.
- Billing: handled entirely by Stripe. We store Stripe's customer and subscription IDs, never card numbers.
- Technical: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) kept briefly for security and debugging.
How we use it
To run the service, sync your team, send sign-in emails, bill Pro subscriptions, and respond to support. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your content to train AI models.
Sharing
Share links you create are accessible to anyone with the link. Data is processed by our infrastructure providers (Netlify for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for sign-in emails, Google for sign-in) under their own privacy terms. We disclose data only if required by law.
AI assistants and API
If you create an API key and connect an AI assistant, that assistant can read and change your company's data on your behalf. Revoke keys any time in Settings.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays until you delete it or ask us to close your account. Email help@walkthru.build and we'll delete your company's data within 30 days. You can export everything through the API first.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Sessions are signed, HttpOnly cookies. API keys are stored hashed.
