Use Claude or ChatGPT to run your punch list
Walkthru has an MCP server, so an AI assistant can add items, assign subs and tell you what’s left, on your behalf.
What you can ask
- “Add to the Harper job: kitchen paint, nail pops by the window; primary bath tile, grout cracked at the niche.”
- “What’s still open on Harper, by sub?”
- “Which items did subs mark fixed this week?”
- “Get me the link for Harpeth Tile on the Harper job.”
- “Close everything Ridgeline Painting finished.”
Set it up (two minutes)
- In Walkthru, open Settings → Connections → Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and create a key.
- In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors and add a custom connector with the URL
https://walkthru.build/mcpand the key. In ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor, add an MCP server with the same URL andAuthorization: Bearer wt_live_…, or the single-URL formhttps://walkthru.build/mcp/wt_live_…. - Ask it to list your jobs to check it worked.

list_projects, create_project, get_job_site, list_items, create_item, create_items, update_item, complete_items, project_summary, get_share_link, list_subs, create_sub, import_subs, archive_project. Full reference in the docs and OpenAPI.
