Text each sub their punch list

How it works in Walkthru

1. Walk the house and add items. Tap +, type “kitchen paint, nail pops by the window”. Room and trade fill in on their own.
2. Set who does each trade once. Paint goes to your painter, Tile to your tile guy. Every item in that trade is assigned from then on.
3. Send. From the job’s ⋯ menu, tap Send to subs. Each sub with open items is listed with their number. Tap one and Messages opens with their link already in the text.
4. They fix it and tap the button. The sub opens the link, sees their items with photos and directions to the lot, and taps I fixed it on each one.
5. You check it. Fixed items show up under To check on your Home screen. Close them, or send them back with a note.

Why a link beats a screenshot or a group text

• Each sub sees only their own items, not everyone else’s.
• The link stays live: add an item and it’s on their page, close one and it’s gone.
• Photos come along at full size, and there’s a Directions button to the lot.
• Spanish-speaking crews get it in Spanish automatically.
• Prefer paper? The same link prints a clean PDF by room with checkboxes and a sign-off line.

Questions

How do I send a subcontractor their punch list?

In Walkthru, open the job, tap ⋯ then Send to subs, and pick the sub. Your phone’s Messages or Mail opens with a link to only that sub’s items.

Does the sub need to download an app?

No. The link opens in any phone browser. There is no account, login or password for subs.

How do I know when a sub finished an item?

The sub taps I fixed it on their page. The item moves to To check in your app so you can look before you close it.

Can I send a PDF instead?

Yes. Choose PDF when you send, or print from the sub’s page. It is grouped by room with photos, checkboxes and a sign-off line.
